Monica
I was born on October 30, 1992 in Oaxaca
City. I'm the youngest in my family. Until I was 5 I lived in my father's
hometown, San Gabriel. I remember myself playing with my two brothers all
around the yard with my grandpa behind us. Then we had to move to Puerto
Escondido, a beautiful city in the coast of the Pacific Ocean. I started my
education there. I was really good at Spanish. When I started High School I
discovered a lot of new things that I got to love, one of them is folk dancing
so I joined the team and I met a lot of great friends and places. I decided I
wanted to be more independent and when I was 16 I got a vacation job in an
Italian restaurant and I had the chance to learn a lot from my boss, so I
discovered I love languages and I started with English and Italian. I studied
English for 2 and a half years in Puerto and Italian just for 8 months before I
go to Mexico City to get a bachelor degree in administration at UNAM where I
resumed my studies in English, Italian and started with Portuguese. I've been
living in there since 2011 and I think that now I'm more mature than I was when
I started college. I'm more enthusiastic and adventurous and I want to learn
the most from this experience.

Mony,
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing person! Specially whe it comes to talk about languages and the place you are from. Furthermore, to study at UNAM is something to be proud of. I clap on your achievements so far, my friend!
